What it does
Hashtag Research takes a niche you type in (or tap from a suggestion) and an optional platform, and returns three groups of hashtags: Broad Reach (high-reach, high-competition), Balanced (a mix of reach and targeting), and Niche (lower-competition, more engaged audiences). These are use-case categories meant to be mixed, not a ranked list. The suggestions come from Claude's pattern knowledge, not real-time platform metrics, so the tool is built to be a fast first draft you then sanity-check inside the platform. You can copy individual tags, a whole tier, or every tag at once, and save any set so you can reuse it later without regenerating.
How to use it
- 1
Enter your niche and pick a platform
Type a niche like "home gym" or "vegan baking" (up to 100 characters) and choose All platforms, Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube from the dropdown.
- 2
Or tap a suggested niche to fill it in
Use a chip from your brief, a "From your plan" topic pulled from your active content plan, or an entry from the shared community niche library to prefill the form.
- 3
Generate the three tiers
Click Generate and Claude builds your Broad Reach, Balanced, and Niche sets in about 10–15 seconds; click Regenerate to try again for the same niche.
- 4
Review and mix across tiers
Read the per-tier descriptions and combine tags from different tiers rather than picking just one group — the tiers are categories, not a ranking.
- 5
Copy the tags you want
Copy a single tag, an entire tier with its "Copy all" button, or every tag at once as a paste-ready block.
- 6
Save the set for reuse
Click "Save these results" to add the set to your History; your three most recent saved sets also appear as one-tap "Quick copy" cards at the top of the tool.
Tips
- These are AI suggestions based on common patterns, not real-time platform data — confirm a few tags in-app before you lean on them.
- Loading a niche from the community library or a recent saved set reuses cached tiers, so it costs no AI generation.
- Set the platform before generating: Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube get platform-aware suggestions, while All platforms keeps them generic.
- Save sets you reuse often (by niche and platform) so you can copy the same tags next time straight from the Quick copy cards instead of regenerating.
